Although I have been painting since 1978, it wasn’t until I began my master’s degree in art therapy (1987) that I first tasted the richly potent, symbolic content contained in the imagery.
I believe the creative process mirrors the soul, therefore it is always surprising to see the completed paintings and listen to the secrets they whisper.
I paint with a full heart in a dream-like state of mind where deletions are rare and honesty is plentiful. I dance with shapes and shadows; I play with patterns of color and light; it is a celebration.
